To ensure you have all essential information at hand before arrival, here are the booking details for our rooms at a glance.
Prices
The listed prices are per person per night, including gourmet half board and excluding the local tourist tax. They apply for stays of 3 nights or more. The tourist tax is €3.50 per person per day (for guests aged 15 and over) and will be charged separately.
Booking with breakfast only
When booking a room with breakfast only, you receive a discount of €11 per person per day in summer and €15 per person per day in winter.

Arrival and departure
We welcome new arrivals daily – except on certain public holidays. On the arrival day, rooms are available from 2pm. Please let us know if you are likely to arrive after 6pm. On your day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your apartment by 11am.
Discount for kids
A children’s discount is available for rooms with two full-paying adults:
Up to 3 years: free
4 – 7 years: -50%
8 – 12 years: -40%
13 – 15 years: -30%
from age 15, a 10% discount.
Pets
Upon request, we are happy to welcome your four-legged family members to the Alte Schmiede. Due to the increased cleaning requirements, we charge €15 per pet per day (excluding food).

Our spa area “Um el Ma” with an organic sauna, Finnish sauna and infrared brine lounge and jacuzzi, along with our indoor pool, awaits you.
Restaurant
Our Restaurant Alte Schmiede serves a delicious breakfast daily and a multi-course evening meal with choices for guests on half board. You are also welcome to enjoy à la carte dining here.

Dinner in our restaurant is a festive occasion. We kindly ask you to choose smart-casual attire.
Parking spaces
Our hotel offers a variety of free, covered outdoor parking spaces.
Advance payment
To confirm your reservation with us, we request a deposit of 40% of the total booked amount (depending on the total and season).
Cancellations
Cancellations are only valid in written form and will be charged as follows:
- Up to 3 weeks before your arrival date: cancellation free of charge.
- Between 3 weeks and 1 week before your planned arrival: 70% of the total price
- During the final week before your planned arrival: 90% of the total arrangement price
- Late arrivals, early departures and no-shows will be charged at 90%.
