The old forge
A house with history
Our hotel’s tale began over 150 years ago, with the construction of our forge in the historic heart of Seefeld. Through the generations, it stood as a lively centre for exchange and commerce. With the growth of tourism in the 1960s and the buzz of the 1976 Innsbruck Olympics, the Seefeld forge, once tied to farming, blossomed into a charming bed-and-breakfast.
Today, we welcome guests from near and far in both summer and winter at our 4-star hotel, boasting a superb à-la-carte restaurant and a luxurious spa area. For four generations, the Alte Schmiede has been run by our family, and we are eager to keep this legacy alive for many decades to come.
